What is pharoahs island?

Pharaoh's Island, also known as Coral Island, is a small island located in the northernmost part of the Gulf of Aqaba, off the coast of Egypt. It is named after the pharaoh who once ruled over the region. The island is just over 400 meters in length and 180 meters in width. It is home to a medieval fortress built by Crusader forces in the 12th century and later used by the Mamluk Sultanate. The fortress is well-preserved and serves as a major attraction for tourists. The island is also popular for snorkeling and diving due to its rich marine life and coral reefs. It is accessible by boat from the nearby resort town of Taba.
